THE STORY OF FIVE HORSES DESIGNS
Wild hearts can't be broken.
Fueled by dream and desire, I taught myself to weave earrings. I must have picked up my knack for craft from my grandmother. As a child, I would watch as she masterfully crafted dolls made of corn shucks. My sister and I would help her collect acorns, berries, and anything elemental that could help curate her story. It was inspiring- whenever I work I think of her.
Since the pandemic, my hands and heart ached to generate. I had always wanted to make my own earrings so I set out to create something easy to beautiful and travel with- lightweight, captivating and flowing. Glass beads offer just that with big, bold splashes of color.

The name has a few origins-- a combination of a game I played with my grandmother called 'hutch', the spirit energy of the horse in Native American tradition, and the story of Sonora Webster Carver. The number 5 also has many mystics meanings.
